GOCORE Final Conference – Join us in Amsterdam! What does meaningful citizen engagement and supporting citizens initiatives really look like, and what can we learn from four years of interregional cooperation?
On 12 November 2026, GOCORE will bring its four-year journey to a close in Amsterdam. But this is more than a final conference: it’s an opportunity to celebrate what we have achieved, share lessons learned, and look ahead at what citizen engagement can become and why this is necessary.
Bringing together policymakers, practitioners and citizen engagement experts, the afternoon will be packed with insights, inspiration and opportunities to exchange ideas with people working to strengthen participation and community resilience across Europe.
🗣 Keynote speaker: Marije van den Berg
Founder of Democratie in uitvoering, Marije brings a fresh and provocative perspective on citizen engagement. Challenging familiar approaches and frameworks, she invites us to ask a fundamental question: what does genuine democratic participation actually require?
🎤 Hosted by Rixt van Dongera, the programme promises to be dynamic and engaging from start to finish.
