This year will feature chip timed events, all participants will receiver a finisher time, finisher medal and race photos! Thank you for considering Lapeer's only 5K and 5 Mile Turkey Trot. This low key 5K and 5 mile run through Lapeer, will take you through Mott Community College, behind Lapeer Lightning Stadium, looping through some scenic neighborhoods before turning on M21 for all to see, ending with a straight shot down back to Mott College where the Gobblers will be waiting! .
The course will be marked by a few cones with arrows, roads will remain open to traffic and participants are required to yield to traffic. You can find maps to our route in Strava format below. Finisher medals for all participants, snacks and beverages at the finish. This race will be chip timed, there are overall awards for first male and female in the 5K and 5Mile. Top 3 in age group in 5 year age groups.
A portion of the proceeds from this race will be used to give back to the Lapeer Community Schools.
