🦃❤️ GOBBLE GOBBLE GIVE DETROIT 2026! ❤️🦃PEOPLE HELPING PEOPLE — ONE MEAL AT A TIME!
Detroit, it’s that time of year again! We’re bringing our community together for another incredible Thanksgiving morning of giving back!
For nearly a decade, we’ve been organizing this Thanksgiving tradition here in Detroit, bringing together volunteers, families, businesses, and neighbors to help feed and support those less fortunate.
THIS YEAR, OUR GOAL IS TO SURPASS 4,500 MEALS! And we need YOUR help to make it happen!
📅 WHEN: Thursday, November 26, 2026 — Thanksgiving Day!
⏰ TIME: Starting at 8:00 AM
📍 WHERE: Bert’s Warehouse
2727 Russell Street, Detroit, MI
❤️ EVERYONE IS WELCOME!
This is a FREE, all-ages, family-friendly, inclusive event! Bring your children, family, friends, neighbors, coworkers, or just yourself!
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
🍗 BRING FOOD!
We’re asking volunteers to bring fully cooked, ready-to-serve Thanksgiving dishes. Turkey, ham, stuffing, mashed potatoes, vegetables, casseroles, desserts, and more! Every contribution helps!
🧥 DONATE ESSENTIAL ITEMS!
We’re also collecting warm clothing, coats, gloves, hats, socks, blankets, and personal hygiene products to help those facing Michigan’s cold winter.
🙌 VOLUNTEER YOUR TIME!
Help organize donations, prepare and package meals, distribute food, load vehicles, or assist wherever you’re needed. There is something for everyone to do!
🚗 HELP US REACH THOSE IN NEED!
Our mission doesn’t stop at the warehouse. We want to get meals and essential supplies into the hands of people experiencing homelessness, hardship, or food insecurity throughout the Detroit area.
🏢 LOCAL BUSINESSES & ORGANIZATIONS!
We welcome restaurants, bakeries, grocery stores, churches, community organizations, and businesses interested in donating food, supplies, or volunteering together as a team!
NO DONATION IS REQUIRED TO VOLUNTEER! If all you can bring is yourself and a willingness to help, that’s more than enough!
❤️ KNOW SOMEONE WHO NEEDS HELP?
Please share this event with anyone who could benefit from a Thanksgiving meal or some extra kindness this holiday season.
This event is about more than feeding people. It’s about community, compassion, dignity, and showing our neighbors that they haven’t been forgotten.
PLEASE SHARE THIS EVENT, INVITE YOUR FRIENDS, AND HELP US SPREAD THE WORD!
Together, we can make Thanksgiving 2026 our biggest year yet!
