Led by Go Africa in partnership with Islington Council, the 2026 series will transform Chapel Market into a colourful cultural hub, showcasing Black-owned businesses across food, fashion, art, beauty, wellness and music.
The market will align with key cultural moments including Africa Day, & AFRO HAIR & BEAUTY LIVE happening 5 minutes away SUNDAY 24TH MAY 2026 offering residents and visitors a rich mix of shopping, live entertainment, workshops and family-friendly activities.
More than a market, the programme is designed to support local economic growth, provide paid opportunities for traders and creatives, and create welcoming public spaces that celebrate diversity and community pride.
