Join us to hear from two fascinating speakers.
Dr Andrew Read, creator of the Greater Manchester Ringway and author of the Greater Manchester Walking Guidebook will talk about the story of the GM Ringway, Greater Manchester's walking trail, and how it promises to be a superb resource for connecting people to the city-region's landscapes and nature.
Alan Cargill, the former Conservation Officer for Leigh Ornithological Society will then talk about the successful nature restoration that's taken place and Pennington Flash and other reserves with the Flashes of Wigan and Leigh National Nature Reserve.
Doors 6.30, 7pm start.
Proceeds from this event will be split between the RSPB Manchester Local Group and the GM Ringway Fund.
