Our season-long world tour comes to a close with our Competition for Young Musicians Winners' Showcase and final concert, “Gloria! The Joy of Bach and Latin America!” Three different Gloria settings anchor the concert by Bach, Pinto Fonesca (Brazil), and Ariel Ramirez (Argentina). Music by rarely performed composers of the 18th and 19th century will be a highlight, which include Zumaya who worked in Mexico City during Bach's time and Nunes Garcia who was the court composer in Rio de Janiero in Mozart’s time. Vibrant harmonies and irresistible rhythms will fill your heart with joy!
