A Free Balloon Fiesta Week Event Is Returning to Los Ranchos This October
The 2nd Annual Globito Glow in the Village will take place Monday, October 5 from 5–10 PM along 4th Street between Schulte Road and Pueblo Solano Road. The event will feature 66 remote-controlled hot air balloons glowing along the historic Route 66 corridor in celebration of the Route 66 Centennial.
The night will also include live music, family activities, food trucks, beer gardens and participating local businesses. Admission is free.
These RC balloons are smaller scale versions of traditional hot air balloons and use working burners while being controlled remotely, giving visitors a much closer look at the glow.
