We dug deep into our cellar and pulled out five whiskies we know you're gonna enjoy! This year's bourbon tasting will include selections from across the wide-ranging family of the Buffalo Trace Distillery.
Bourbon Tasting Lineup:
- Elmer T Lee Single Barrel - Named for the Buffalo Trace Master Distiller and creator of the original commercial single barrel bourbon.
- Weller Full Proof - From the man who pioneer the wheated bourbon, this retains all the natural oils and flavors developed during distillation and aging.
- Weller Single Barrel - For the refined bourbon palate, no two barrels are quite the same. Expect distinct, full-bodied flavor in the celebrated tradition of Weller’s wheated bourbon.
- Van Winkle Special Reserve 12 Year (aka "Lot B") - Embodies the balance of maturity and smoothness that defines the family name. Bottled at 90.4 proof, it carries the depth of well-aged bourbon with an elegance few can match
- Pappy Van Winkle Family Reserve 15 Year - crafted from the exclusive Van Winkle family wheated recipe and carefully chosen from barrels in the heart of the aging warehouses
Bites:
- Chicken wings featuring three sauces crafted in-house especially for this event: Rosemary Brown Butter, Maple Black Pepper, Brown Sugar Smoked Paprika
