Glitch A Match: PowerPoint Pitch Your Single Friend 🎮✨
🗓️ Date: Saturday, September 26th, 2026
🕕 Time: 7:30 PM - 10:00 PM (then stay for Glitch Gardens all night!)
📍 Location: Axelrad Beer Garden | 1517 Alabama St, Houston, TX 77004

Think your single friend is a total catch? Prove it! 🎤✨
- We’re back teaming up with Axelrad’s Glitch Garden, their monthly video game and electronic music takeover night, to host a special edition of our signature singles event, Pitch A Match.
- 12 presenters will each have 5 minutes to pitch their single friend to a room full of other eligible singles, PowerPoint style.
- After the presentations, we transition into a social hour where you can connect with anyone who caught your attention and enjoy the Glitch Gardens experience throughout the venue!
🎤 How It Works:
- 12 presenters (6 Men, 6 Women)
- 5 minutes each
- 1 hour of fun and possibly awkward presentations
- Followed by a 1-hour social hour to mix, mingle, and even challenge another single to a video game duel in the garden! Free games available + BYOC (Bring Your Own Console) is encouraged!
🎟 Ticket Breakdown:
1. Presenter Ticket – $30
- This ticket is for a pair: the single person & the friend doing the pitch
- One ticket covers both people
- Includes both complimentary drinks & full access to the Glitch Garden video games
- After purchasing, please email your PowerPoint (10 slides max) to by Monday, September 21st
⚠️ Limited to 12 presenter pairs total: 6 men and 6 women being pitched!
2. Viewer Ticket – $18
- Not presenting? No problem! Come enjoy the show, cheer on your friends, and meet other singles during the social hour.
- Includes your complimentary drink & full access to the Glitch Garden video games
⚠️ To keep things balanced, viewer tickets are split 50/50 between men and women. Please select the appropriate ticket type when checking out.
🍕 Food cravings?
Luigi's Pizza is connected to the venue for pre- or post-event bites as well as on-site food vendors throughout the venue!
Whether you're pitching or mingling, this will be a Saturday night to remember!

Please Note:
⚠️ Tickets are non-refundable within 7 days of the event. Therefore, the last day to request a refund would be Saturday, September 19th!
Eventbrite service fees are non-refundable. This applies to all refunds, including those requested before the 7-day cutoff and those issued due to a rescheduled event.
