About this Event
Join Greater Lincolnshire Integrated Sexual Health (GLiSH) for an informative and interactive teaching session designed to support education professionals in promoting positive sexual health and wellbeing among young people.
The session will provide an introduction to the sexual health services available through GLiSH, alongside information and guidance to help professionals feel more confident discussing sexual health, contraception and sexually transmitted infections (STIs) with young people.
We’ll explore how to signpost young people to appropriate support, access available resources and help ensure they feel informed, supported and confident in making decisions about their sexual health.
There will also be an opportunity to ask questions, share experiences and learn more about how GLiSH can support your setting in delivering effective relationships and sex education (RSE).
Who is this session for?
This session is suitable for professionals working in education settings across Greater Lincolnshire, including:
- RSE and sex education teachers
- Pastoral support teams and pastoral leads
- Designated safeguarding leads (DSLs) and safeguarding staff
- School nurses and student support staff
- Heads of year, tutors and other professionals who work directly with young people
Whether you deliver RSE directly or provide pastoral support to young people, this session will help you better understand the sexual health support available and how to access it.
We look forward to welcoming you!
