🍐💙 **GLIMPSES OF HOME UPON THE BUNDJALUNG NATION****An exhibition of drawings and paintings by Melani du Jardin**
**Opening Friday 4 December 2026**
📍 Pretty Weird Blueberry
The Byron Butter Factory, Jonson Street Byron Bay
Pretty Weird Blueberry is delighted to present its inaugural exhibition, *Glimpses of Home upon the Bundjalung Nation*, featuring the drawings and paintings of Northern Rivers artist Melani du Jardin.
An intimate celebration of the places, colours and moments that make somewhere feel like home.
Drawing upon the traditions of Romanticism and Impressionism, du Jardin explores the extraordinary beauty found in ordinary life — the changing light upon familiar landscapes, the abundance of a garden, the intimacy of domestic spaces and the quiet poetry of everyday things.
Through expressive brushwork, luminous colour and a deeply personal relationship with her surroundings, these works offer glimpses into a life lived and observed upon the beautiful Bundjalung Nation.
At once playful, contemplative and deeply personal, the exhibition invites visitors to rediscover the beauty of the familiar and reflect upon their own sense of place and belonging.
**This exhibition also celebrates the opening of Pretty Weird Blueberry**, a new independent art gallery and cultural space in the heart of Byron Bay, dedicated to Northern Rivers and significant Australian art.
Come and discover the paintings, meet the artist and help us celebrate the beginning of a new creative chapter in Byron Bay.
**All welcome. Free entry.**
