Get ready for a night of blues, rock, soul and alternative energy as two dynamic Canadian acts take the stage at Harmony Hall.
Glenn Marais & The Mojo Train bring their electrifying blend of blues, rock, funk and soul to the Hall. A Juno-nominated singer/songwriter, guitarist and performer, Glenn Marais has spent decades turning powerful storytelling and fiery musicianship into unforgettable live performances. His latest project, Jook: The Story of the Blues, explores the history and enduring power of the blues, while his work with The Mojo Train delivers that music with serious energy and soul. Glenn and The Mojo Train have also competed successfully at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, reaching the semi-finals in both the band and solo categories.
Shoemaker Levee is an original four-piece alternative/indie rock band bringing a distinctive, hard-hitting sound to the stage. Their music draws from a wide range of influences, including The Tragically Hip, Led Zeppelin, Rage Against the Machine, Nine Inch Nails and Iron Maiden. Their live performance has earned them recognition on the Canadian indie scene, including top-three finishes at Gussapolooza Music Festival in 2022 and Tall Pines Music Festival's Battle of the Bands in 2023 and 2024.
