Join luxury wedding photographer Sarah Anne Thompson for this two-part workshop!
In the first hour, Sarah will cover how she has built her Fujifilm kit not around what's newest, but around what actually earns its place in the bag. In this talk, she'll walk through how she moved between the X and GFX series — what signals in her workflow told her it was time to add a body or a lens, and how Fuji's legendary color science and the GFX's uncanny ability to replicate the feel of film shaped those decisions. Attendees will leave with a practical roadmap for navigating Fujifilm's expansive lineup, so they can invest in the most versatile pieces for their own kit instead of guessing their way through it.
Then, in the second part, attendees get the chance to put what they've learned into action. For the last two hours, Sarah will guide small groups through shooting models to mimic the types of coverage you'd want to get during a real wedding, and provide context on how lens choice matters in these hands-on situations. Fujifilm reps will be on-site with loaner gear available, so take this opportunity to try some of their tools, perfectly curated for wedding photography!

- Your camera
- A lens of your preferred focal length for portraiture (Sarah's favorite lenses: GF 55mm f/1.7, GF 110 f/2, XF 16-55 f/2.8, XF 50-140mm f/2.8)
- An SD card
- An I.D. (if you wish to borrow a Fujifilm body or lens)
