About this Event
Unlocking the Secrets of Creative Lighting
Learn how to move beyond traditional lighting setups and use light as a powerful creative tool with lighting expert Lindsay Adler. Lindsay focuses on three essential techniques that define much of her work: hard light, grids, and gels. You’ll discover how each can be used to control mood, sculpt your subject, direct the viewer’s eye, and create bold, high-impact imagery. The class also explores specialty modifiers, gobos, projected patterns, and creative in-camera techniques that will leave you excited to return to the studio with fresh ideas. While some concepts are more advanced, Lindsay builds each technique step by step through practical demonstrations, making them approachable, attainable, and ready to recreate in your own work.
