See artworks by nearly 20 artists and the students of Gwenyfed High School.
This year the exhibition will be part of the biannual Celebration of Welsh Contemporary Painting (COWCP) which showcases work by contemporary artists at different venues across Wales throughout the year. To tie in with this all artworks in this year’s exhibition will feature some form of painting, whether that be on canvas, paper, ceramics, textiles or sculpture.
Confirmed artists for 2026:
• Contemporary painters, Veronica Gibson, Alan Salisbury, Amanda Turner, Tracy Thursfield, Sue Williams, Maggy Roberts, Jessie Dixon and Adrian Kay.
• Sally Matthews, Sculptor, Caitriona Cartwright, stone lettercutter & carver, Dawn Cripps, textile artist, Gracie Price, ceramist and illustrator, and Christine Williams (also known as Melangell), a pigmented beeswax artist.
• Mixed media artists, Jenni Hall, Clarissa Price, Juliet Parker Smith and Sarah Langton
• New artists for 2026: Helen Arthur, Longtown based landscape painter and printmaker, Chris Garrett, a painter from Clyro and Stef Thelwell, a local sketchbook artist.
A proportion of funds raised through the exhibition go to Glasbury Arts, to ensure we can keep our volunteer led charity going and our programme of visual arts and music events running year on year.
