The Village of Grayslake announced at a recent meeting that they plan to only hold the minimum of ONE meeting per month if there is no new business. We know this to be a tactic to try and silence us. We knew they would try and cancel the next scheduled meeting date ofm October 6, 2026, but we won't let them!
Here's our loose plan so far, with many details to come:
📊Bring your signs, wear your shirts, prepare your speeches, and bring a chair - because we're here to be seen and heard! 👕🚫
🪧Show up at Village Hall on Tuesday, October 6, 2026 at 6pm.
🧾When you arrive, use our sign up sheet to let us know you have something prepared - everyone will get a chance to be fully heard! Not two minutes, but the full three minutes or longer if you need (just remember, we do have work and school the next day 🤪) 📢
📢Speeches begin with our emcee making any announcements and important details about T5 and hyperscale AI data centers. They'll continue with our public commentary portion
🚶Weather depending, we may travel down Center St. to show off what we have -- signs, shirts, etc... 🧑🦽🧍🚵
🧍Meeting ends no later than 8pm, and we all walk back to our vehicles 🚵🧑🦽🚶
