GKO - The Blue Tour LIVE in Hollywood
Piano rhapsodist GKO returns to L.A. with The Blue Tour—an immersive journey through the legacy of the esteemed jazz label, Tokyo’s vibrant music scene, and the evocative power of the color. Raised on Chopin and side-tracked by jazz records, GKO’s artistry blends the lyricism of a Debussy symphony with the wonder of a Ghibli film. “As an in-the-moment composer, I just want to show how incredible and beautiful the piano is and, in between breaths, make some magic,” says GKO. As a genre-defying Steinway Artist, he is quietly redefining what it means to be a modern pianist, focusing on pure expression over adherence to a particular style. Audiences consistently praise his performances as virtuosic delights, filled with intimate whispers to the heart.
The show will be split into 2 sets, and you’ll have the opportunity to compose a song with the artist during the show.
This in-person event is hosted at EastWest Studios, the iconic recording studio that captured Frank Sinatra, The Rolling Stones, Lizzo, and Lady Gaga.
Advanced tickets are $30 and $35 at the door. This is the perfect opportunity to experience GKO's music up close, so get tickets now!
