Roni has performed at some of the nation’s most iconic comedy venues, including the Hollywood Improv, The Laugh Factory (Los Angeles and Chicago), the World-Famous Comedy Store, and Caroline’s on Broadway. In 2024, she hit the road as the opening act for Martin Lawrence on his “Y’all Know What It Is” tour—solidifying her place as one of comedy’s rising stars.
Beyond the stage, Roni is a dynamic TV host and has appeared on MTV, showcasing her vibrant personality and undeniable presence on screen. She also tours internationally, entertaining U.S. troops alongside the mental health comedy group One Degree of Separation, using laughter as a tool for healing and connection.
With a stage presence like no other, Roni Shanell delivers comedy that is fearless, relatable, and unforgettable.
Shanie D is a Detroit-based stand-up comedian whose warm spirit, sharp wit, and emotionally rich storytelling have made her a standout voice in the Midwest comedy scene. Known for her clean, clever approach, she brings audiences into her world with the ease of a seasoned storyteller - blending humor, heart, and cultural insight in a way that feels both familiar and refreshingly original.
Her comedy draws from real life: family dynamics, faith-filled upbringing, childhood memories, and the everyday contradictions that shape who we are.
Whether she's unpacking the unspoken rules of church culture, navigating the chaos of adulthood, or shining a light on the small moments that connect us all, Shanie D delivers it with expressive physicality, musicality, and a natural warmth that makes every room feel like home.
A versatile performer, she moves effortlessly between clubs, churches, corporate stages, and community events. Her sets often weave in poetry, crowd work, and rhythmic storytelling, creating a dynamic experience that resonates across generations and backgrounds. Audiences praise her relatability, emotional depth, and the way she can make you laugh while also making you feel.
With growing visibility through YouTube specials, regional showcases, and recurring appearances at Detroit's top comedy venues, Shanie D continues to expand her reach - one heartfelt, hilarious story at a time.
StephFunny is a cat-loving, paintbrush-wielding, curious creative who loves to laugh. Her mantra: “Laughter is the signal booster for the soul.” At night, while the world is resting, she’s busy curating events while sharpening her comedy craft. During the day, she dons another one of her many capes as a librarian. Stephanie is a proud Detroiter and serial graduate of Wayne State University.
Patty B. - Motor City Comic
Patty B. grew up like most comedians — roasting her siblings to oblivion as her very first hecklers. That part of her never truly left as she moved into the business world and spent years entertaining her colleagues.
Deciding to give comedy a try, taking her very first comedy class at the famous Mark Ridley Comedy Club in 2023 and hasn’t looked back.
Patty lives in Metro Detroit, with a partner who will not leave her side, no matter how many times she practices her sets on him, and writes romance as Aliza Mann.
Comedian Shawn E. A.K.A The Detroit Comedian, Detroit’s Original Urban Voice
Detroit native Shawn E. isn’t just performing comedy; he’s documenting the culture with a raw, "down-to-earth" authenticity that is uniquely his own. A standout voice in the urban stand-up circuit, Shawn has built a reputation for high-energy, edgy observational humor and a surgical take on modern relationships. His ability to bridge the gap between the gritty streets of Detroit and the national stage has separated him from the pack as a premier comedic talent.
