WHAT IS GIVESI? GiveSI 2026 is a Community Day of Giving across the southern 17 counties in Illinois. The funds raised in our region stay in our region. Donations made during GIVESI go to the more than 120 nonprofits who sign up to be a part of the campaign.
WHEN IS GIVESI?
This year, we're holding our 30-hour campaign beginning at 5 p.m. on Thursday, October 8th. The campaign continues through 11 p.m. on Friday, October 9th when we announce the GIVESI 2026 preliminary Grand Total! We're excited to hold our GIVESI 2026 Southern Illinois Community Day of Giving Event at the ThrillHouse Family Entertainment and Event Center! You can bet we'll be intigrating their family friendly games into this year's fundraising!
During the campaign, fundraising depends on the support of event sponsors and donations. We're setting a goal of raising $400,000 this year, which would put us over the $2million mark to finish the 7th year of GIVESI.
