About this Event
Step into a welcoming, slow-paced sanctuary on Saturday, November 14th, where you can finally pause the daily rush. You will be guided through a series of interactive experiences designed to reconnect you with joy and deepen your appreciation and love for yourself.
At Give Yourself Your Flowers expect lighthearted moments, like reading a children's book together, balanced with deep, reflective exercises like radical self-acknowledgment with a mirror and writing a love letter to yourself. It is a warm, low-pressure space centered entirely on play, grace, and community care.
What You'll Do
In this immersive, hands-on gathering, you'll engage in reflective and playful activities designed to give you your flowers and pour back into your own cup:
- Rediscover Wonder: Gather together for a grounding, nostalgic children's book read-aloud that taps into the playful energy of your inner child while imparting valuable lessons.
- Practice Radical Self-Acknowledgment: Stare into a handheld mirror to look past daily critiques, cataloging everything you deeply admire, appreciate, and love about yourself.
- Frame Your Worth: Decorate a picture frame using washi tape and affirmation stickers, creating a physical centerpiece for your self-image to take home and display.
- Give Yourself Your Flowers: Write a heartfelt note to yourself inside a greeting card, stepping into the role of your own greatest champion to celebrate your growth.
- Celebrate The Person Next To You: Create connections with the other attendees by getting to know them and hyping each other up in a designated space for shout outs.
Why Attend
We spend so much of our lives waiting for milestones, praise, or permission from others to feel validated. This workshop is your intentional afternoon to trade self-doubt and self-criticism for deep self-compassion. You will step away with a tangible toolkit, practical rituals for self-forgiveness, and a renewed commitment to pour back into your own cup first.
A Few Things To Note
- Your ticket includes all of the toolkit materials, plus one specialty drink from the cafe. There will be light refreshments, too.
- By registering for this workshop, you’ll also be subscribed to TLC’s weekly newsletter for more self-care tips, future workshop offerings, and community updates (you can unsubscribe at any time).
