Schools: We are delighted to invite you and your 13-14 year old female students to our girls science, technology, arts, engineering and maths (STEAM) conference
This exciting event builds on the success of the last 9 years and will be an ideal opportunity for your 13 & 14 years old students to:
* Experience a Corporate setting* Be inspired by young women doing great things that they can relate to* Bring the PSHE curriculum to life through inspiring workshops and real life experiences of our speakers.* Increase aspirations and understand the many opportunities potentially available to them in non-typical industries and corporate organizations.* Meet girls from different walks of life.* Be challenged to make a difference in their community and realise their personal power.* Have a positive day reflecting on what’s good about being them.
We have some amazing guest speakers and workshops lined up for you, including:

Charlene Gravesend
With over 15 years of experience in the Sports media industry, I am passionate about creating captivating sports content that engages and informs audiences across multiple platforms. I have a proven track record of producing thought-provoking and award-winning films, promos, features and live content that cover a wide range of topics, from social justice and diversity to innovation and excellence in sports.
As a skilled and versatile Sports Producer, I have expertise in broadcasting, news writing, post-production, and video editing, using various tools and software such as Final Cut Pro, Avid|Cloud UX, and Quantel. I hold an NCTJ Advanced Sports Diploma and a BA Honours degree in Media & Cultural Studies with French from Kingston University. I am also an active member of Leaders in Sport, Bectu, and ForbesBLK, where I network, learn, and advocate for the advancement and inclusion of Black professionals in the sports and media industries.

How many students and staff can attend?
Each school can have a maximum of 15 places (this number includes staff), we limit the number so that a mix of schools can attend.
Can I pay via an invoice?
If you'd prefer to be invoiced - please contact [email protected] and we will organise that for you.
What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Yes, if your school has a uniform
Is lunch provided?
Yes, but you must advise of dietary requirements in advance or students with dietary requirements should bring their own lunch.
I am individual can I bring my child along?
These events are a school trip, we can make exceptions for home schooled children accompanied by an adult, or if there are extenuating circumstance, please get in touch to discuss.
