Girls in Aviation Day is about opening doors and showing young women just how many opportunities aviation has to offer.Whether they dream of becoming a pilot, technician, engineer, business leader, or finding another path in our industry, it all starts with seeing what's possible.
At Sheltair, we're proud to support Girls in Aviation Day across our network. Last year, our FBOs welcomed more than 10,000 girls for hands-on activities, aircraft tours, and conversations with the people who make aviation happen every day. We hope those experiences spark curiosity, build confidence, and inspire the next generation to pursue a future in aviation.
You never know where one introduction, one conversation, or one day can lead. We can't wait to welcome even more future aviators this year.

Welcome to the soFLY Girls in Aviation Day Series: Fort Lauderdale Edition! Join us for an exciting event celebrating females in aviation at Sheltair Aviation FLL. This in-person event will feature inspiring speakers, hands-on activities, and networking opportunities. Don't miss this chance to connect with fellow aviation enthusiasts and learn more about the industry.

Registration at 9am.
Chaperone tickets are also available while supplies last. Students are welcome to be dropped off and picked up accordingly. This private event is a safe and secure environment.
The event is designed to introduce youth ages 8–18 to exciting careers in aviation and aerospace through hands-on activities, role models, and STEAM fun.

soFLY's Girls in Aviation Day mission is to educate and empower youth to pursue career journeys in aviation and aerospace. Hands-on activities and STEM connections foster inquisitive minds. Exposure to static aircraft displays promotes tangibility to ambitions. Female role models encourage and inspire youth to explore unique careers and design dreams. soFLY Southern Tropics' events exhibit new experiences within industries that youth may not have exposure to. Celebrate, empower, and inspire the future of aviation through the soFLY Girls in Aviation Day.
soFLY Southern Tropics hosts the Girls in Aviation Day event series and provides year-round resources for young learners through the Aviation for Girls app and Aviation for Girls magazines. We are dedicated to inspiring the next generation of future female aviators through resources supported by our sponsors.
