GIRL JAM was my dream, where women artists were celebrated and appreciated, now it’s REAL, and in its 5th year!! The first Wednesday of each month amazingly talented women get together to share their music. Alexandra Kirby (voice, keyboards) is a singer-songwriter and alt/pop/folk rocker from Cape Ann, MA. She released her debut solo album, Light Cycles, this year, with new singles coming this fall. She also performs with rock party band Silver Lining. At home, she enjoys life with her family and a small menagerie of animals and plants.
Charlie Pace is a fresh new face to the music scene - with her bright hair and colorful clothes she turns heads when she enters the room. When she hits the stage she is soulful, dynamic, and mesmerizing. Her high energy stage presence captivates her audience from the first song. Her music catchy and lyrics deep, Charlie has you dancing as she crosses genres and explores rock, funk, blues, punk, folk, and anything that moves her. When she sings you can pick up notes of her many influences such as Aretha Franklin and Paramore, emanating from her sultry raspy voice.
The Newburyport Brewery is an all ages, kid and dog friendly environment. You can bring your own dinner or have it delivered. The beer bar staff is the best!
