Getting There – Easy Access to the Fun
Venue: St. Nicholas Sq, Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 1PF
The cathedral is filled with beautiful stained glass, which has historically created an amazing atmosphere when paired with our lighting setup.
By Train:
- Around a 6 minute walk from Newcastle Central Station
- Newcastle train station is very well-connected, serving as a major transportation hub in the North East of England
By Bus:
- Monument Grainge Street (Stop 57) is about a 2 minute walk from the cathedral, served by multiple bus lines
On Foot or By Bike:
- A short 10 - 15 minute walk from Newcastle City Centre
- Cycle routes are accessible on the majority of the roads surrounding Newcastle Cathedral
By Car:
- There is limited parking options around the cathedral, and we recommend other options
- If parking is the only option, we suggest Dean Street (5 minute walk), St Nicholas Street (Blue Badge Parking), John Dobson Street (approx. 10 minute walk)
