You can help make this event happen by donating via Venmo (QR code is on our flier). Donations allow us to purchase the necessary supplies for storing and cleaning up donations before and after the event.
Please also consider volunteering your time on Dec. 3rd, Dec. 4th, OR during clean-up on Dec. 5th. (Volunteers can receive early access to shopping. Some conditions for volunteering have been updated since previous events, so once the volunteer link is posted, please read through expectations carefully if you plan on volunteering.)
If you are interested in volunteering at this event, please watch for the volunteer sign-ups to be posted to this event about a week before the event. If you are interested in joining our volunteer Facebook page to volunteer in additional ways, please get to know a committee member (red apron) at the event. You must introduce yourself to a committee member and express interest in joining our volunteer Facebook group if you would like to become a member, no exceptions.
We cannot accept any more volunteer sign-ups once we are full and/or for spontaneous show-ups. So if you intend to volunteer, please sign-up when it becomes available to your demographic (i.e. - students first, then community members).
Anybody can bring donations for the event to the event location on Thurs., Dec. 3rd from 7:00 PM -9:30 PM OR Fri., Dec. 4th from 8:00 AM-1:30 PM. (Keep an eye on our Facebook page as we may need to cut donations off early).
Volunteering is NOT required for entering the event!
On the day of the event, find the entry time that applies to you:
- 7:30 (6H+ volunteering)
- 8:00 (3H+ volunteering)
- 9:00 Graduate Students (Graduate students only)**
- 10:00 All University Students**
- 11:15 - 12:30 General Public
**Grad students - Please remember to bring proof of your enrollment to your graduate program AND your student ID.
**All university students - Please bring your student ID.
If your spouse is a student, you can bring their ID and attend in their place! No sharing your student ID with anyone other than a spouse.
Until 11:15 (Public Hour), no children are allowed unless in a stroller or strapped to you.
