Join us for an unforgettable concert at Leesburg United Methodist Church, led by our music director, Dr. Klyde Ledamo. He will be joined by fellow award-winning artists Mary Jeane Cowan (soprano), Zoe Schauder (violin), and Keiju Takehara (piano)—performers whose artistry has graced stages across North America, Europe, and Asia, including Carnegie Hall, Suntory Hall, the Kennedy Center, and the Strathmore. They have studied at esteemed music schools such as the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University, Manhattan School of Music, University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, and Lynn Conservatory. The program features beloved sacred music arranged for voice, violin, piano, and pipe organ, along with classical solo and chamber works by great composers. Highlights include Widor’s Toccata from Organ Symphony No. 5 on LUMC’s majestic pipe organ; Brahms’ St. Anthony Variations for two pianos; solo piano masterpieces such as Chopin’s Polonaise-Fantaisie and Liszt’s Rigoletto Paraphrase; violin works by Vieuxtemps and Beach; and exquisite soprano pieces that showcase the brilliance and expressive range of Mary Jeane Cowan. The concert will also include other chamber works, including a special piece by LUMC’s own Eugene Robey.
Everyone’s welcome—bring your friends and family for an inspiring evening of music at LUMC!
