About this Event
On this visit we may be searching for and removing non-native rhododendron stumps and regrowth, and possibly burning brash piles to help with regeneration of the woodland. This helps the woodland to regenerate naturally. We may also be maintaining previously planted trees to ensure they grow well or carrying out other woodland tasks.
We encourage volunteers to use our minibus for transport. If you live near this task and wish to make your own way you must ring Debbie on 07510959496 to book a space and for joining instructions.
Please bring your lunch and wear appropriate footwear (boots or wellingtons) and waterproof outdoor clothing.
NEW VOLUNTEERS Please only book one task initially. If you do not attend without letting us know, we may cancel any additional task bookings. If you are under 18 you will need to be accompanied by a guardian. Please contact us to discuss arrangements for volunteering with us , or whether other organisations might be more appropriate.
