Step inside one of the North East’s most beautiful — and most haunted — Georgian mansions…
Ormesby Hall has stood in peaceful grounds for centuries, yet its walls hold stories that refuse to fade.
👻 Legend says Laundry Maid Lucy still remains, waiting in the laundry where she secretly met a member of the Pennyman family in a forbidden relationship.
A former Lady of the House has also been witnessed many times, often during the winter months — sometimes floating silently through rooms, sometimes appearing as a solid, lifelike apparition. Many believe she is searching for her lost love… or answers to an unresolved tragedy.
