A historic setting after dark
The museum occupies Wigan's first public library, designed by Alfred Waterhouse and opened in 1878. George Orwell researched The Road to Wigan Pier in the upstairs reference library in 1936. After the doors close, DeadLive guests will explore this remarkable building in controlled small groups.
