GFWI Christmas Concerts, 2pm and 7pm

We are holding our Christmas concerts at St. Matthew';s Church again - everyone seems to enjoy the venue. The church is opposite the library and the Wilson Museum, with car parks only a short distance away, allowing guests to have a day
in town. Keeping with tradition, we will have our own WI choir, ably led by Jill Beddoe and Carolyn Ford as musical director, and we are welcoming back Mark Cummings as our compere. Carolyn';s daughter-in-law, Madeleine Ford will be our
star guest. She is a professional musical theatre performer whose career spans international stage productions, cabaret and live entertainment. St. Peter';s School Jazz Band will be returning again this year with Catherine Perfect as their
conductor with back-up from Paula - who enlivens the proceedings!
The concerts will last approximately two hours with a 30-minute interval. Before the concert and during the interval, you will be able to purchase hot drinks and homemade biscuits,
both sweet and savoury. There will be other trade stalls plus our own WI Made stall selling jams, chutneys and marmalade as well as lovely handmade gifts and novelties.
And don't forget the raffle, you can buy tickets to win one of our excellent prizes.
Doors Open: 12.45pm for the Matinee Performance and 5.45pm for the Evening Performance
Concerts Start: Matinee Performance: 2pm and Evening Performance: 7pm
Tickets are £15 for members, non members and friends.
