Getting to the Heart of Adaptive Teaching

Great teaching meets every learner where they are. This course explores how adaptive teaching can make learning more inclusive, responsive, and impactful, grounded in evidence-informed practice. You’ll examine practical approaches to adaptation, apply them directly to your own upcoming teaching, and leave with a clear, purposeful action step to better support your learners from day one.
Participants will:

• explore the importance of adaptive teaching
• evaluate a range of evidence-informed approaches to adaptation
• apply learning to their own upcoming teaching practice
• commit to an action step which will support their learners

This course is for all colleagues who teach classes or small groups, including teaching assistants. It is appropriate for those of all experience levels, including trainees and ECTs.
