Steven Lyons is a California-born, New Zealand-raised comedian who has trained and performed around the globe—with credits in London, Chicago, Boston, Vancouver, and across the Caribbean. Since returning home to Aotearoa, he’s earned his photo on the wall at The Classic Comedy Club, voiced two Power Rangers villains, been featured on Seven Sharp and The Project NZ, and warmed up crowds for Taskmaster NZ and 7 Days. Behind the scenes, Steven has written and directed for Drag Race Down Under and The Block NZ. He co-created and hosts The Dice Show, a live comedy panel show that has sold out at the NZ International Comedy Festival and Whangārei Fringe. As a teacher, he is passionate about exploring comedy as an art form and is grateful for the opportunity to both share knowledge with and learn from his students.
