It's no secret that there are skills gaps in our community.
What would happen if we worked together to lessen those gaps? What if some of the best opportunities to build skills are hiding in our everyday work?
This Getting Connected event is all about weaving skill development into the work you already do. Through practical activities, we’ll explore how to spot, name and build skills in everyday interactions—whether it’s at the heart of your role or simply part of how you support others.
We’ll look at how everyday moments (conversations, coaching, guiding clients through programs and navigating next steps) can help strengthen essential skills like communication, adaptability, and problem solving.
Come for lunch & learning, and leave with a new tools & connections for seizing the skill-building opportunities around you!
