Join Mr. Digesh Raut, Assistant Professor of Physics at Washington College, Maryland. In the first half of his talk, Mr. Raut will provide a overview of the Physics Major, with a specific focus on its prospects as a career choice and the expectations and planning necessary for excelling as an undergraduate and graduate physics student. The second half will delve into the limitations of our current understanding of the universe, titled "A Quest to Unravel the Mysteries of the Universe." Mr. Raut will explore a range of experimental and theoretical efforts aimed at addressing the fundamental questions at the forefront of high-energy physics and cosmology research. He emphasizes that these endeavors are essential for gaining a deeper comprehension of the origin and evolution of the universe.
