🚨 GIG ANNOUNCEMENTWe’re VERY excited about this…We’re pleased to announce that Georgie Jones will be performing at Rotherham Civic Theatre next year! Tickets are pay as you feel.
🌟 About Georgie - Performer by nature and poet by trade, she has been praised for her ‘formidable stage presence and compelling way with words’ (Reviews Hub). Roundhouse Poetry Slam finalist turned Resident Artist and BBC Words First alum, Georgie has toured her work across the UK and gathered millions of views online.
🌟 About the show - Georgie has (very scientifically) sorted her entire existence into two categories; Ups and Downs.
A cinematic kiss after a perfect date? Up
Contracting cystitis on day two of a five day camping trip? Down. Spectacular down.
In this 'unmissable solo hour' (BroadwayBaby) Georgie brings spoken word, stand up and just a smidge of oversharing to the stage. More Ups Than Downs is packed with good stories, bad decisions, and the hope that with a little bit of luck and a handful of good people, at the end of it all, we might just find ourselves with more ups than downs.
