About this Event
Georgia is a stunning culinary journey by renowned Georgian chef Meriko Gubeladze and acclaimed food writer Benjamin Kemper, out October 6.
The dinner will give guests a taste of the vibrant, lesser-known dishes that are the book’s calling card - many of them Meriko’s family recipes - from cheesy, chard-filled flatbreads to pomegranate-stewed chicken and billowing platters of Georgian soup dumplings.
Throughout the evening, Georgian amber wine (included in the price) will flow freely, toasts will ring out, and Benjamin will sign books and share stories from a decade spent traveling to the far reaches of the country in search of ancestral know-how and endangered recipes.
Whether you’re new to Georgian cuisine or already love its fresh, distinctive flavors, this is a unique opportunity to sample dishes from Georgia’s best-known chef and take home a book that will inspire your own cooking adventures for years to come.
Your ticket includes:
- A seat at the multi-course Georgian supra (traditional feast)
- A copy of Georgia: The Cookbook, signed by Benjamin
- An unforgettable evening of Georgian food, music, and wine
- Wine, tax, and gratuity
