With three actors, a revolving set and Pipeline’s immersive soundscape, this show takes you on an unlikely, funny and poignant journey.First aiders Maddy and George are working at the local village fete. They are joined by Elias, a Lebanese refugee and Drag Queen.
The play combines humour, warmth, historical fantasy and multi role madness as well as personal histories and political tensions to expose the complexities of modern debates around migration, gender identity, and community and how people can become caught between compassion and prejudice, loyalty and fear, while grasping for understanding and connection.
