The Hopkins County Young Professionals (“HCYP”) will host the 2022 Hopkins County General Election Forum on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at Mahr Park Arboretum in Barn A in Madisonville, KY. Doors will open at 5:00 and the event will begin with opening remarks at 5:30 PM. All contested candidates for Commonwealth Attorney, Hopkins County Magistrate Districts, City of Madisonville Mayor, and City of Madisonville City Council Wards have all been invited to attend and participate in a forum-style event with a set number of predetermined questions that will not be given out ahead of time. If anyone is interested in emailing the Young Professionals a question to ask then please email them to [email protected], make sure to state what race your question is intended for.
