? GCA Presents: Thursday Night Special ?A low pressure, sensory-friendly hangout for autistic adults
We’re excited to officially launch a new in-person summer pilot series for autistic adults at the AIM Center!
Thursday Night Special is designed to be a more comfortable way to connect; a space to hang out, talk, play games, participate in optional activities, and spend time around other autistic adults without a lot of social pressure or expectation. Quiet/sensory-friendly breakout spaces will also be available each night.
? Thursdays: June 4, June 18, July 2, July 16
? 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM
? AIM Center
This is a small pilot series, so space is intentionally limited. Registration covers all 4 nights, and scholarship/support options are available. Limited drop-in opportunities may also be available for those who would prefer to check things out first.
We’re really excited to finally bring this to life and hope this can become a welcoming, sustainable community space for autistic adults in our area ?
