About this Event
Get ready to ‘Strip the Willow’ and ‘Gay Gordons’ your way around the dance floor at this inclusive family ceilidh led by Gaybourhood East, Wee Movers (east-London children’s dance classes) and live Scottish ceilidh band Stroma!
What to expect: Scottish ceilidh but with a strong east London queer family twist. All dances are gender-free and you will be guided through each dance – no experience required. Expect toe-tapping, big smiles, shortbread (yum) and lots of fun. Spin your partner round!
In proper ceilidh spirit, it's a great way to mix, mingle and meet other queer families on the dancefloor!
This was hugely popular last year, so we are back and this time with a live band!
