About this Event
Experience a free afternoon of history, art, music, and civic engagement celebrating the living traditions of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.
The event is open to the local community, students, educators, families, and everyone interested in Gaucho culture and the traditions of southern Brazil.
WHAT TO EXPECT
• Official welcome and civic ceremony
• Presentation of the Chama Crioula – Around the World
• The Brazilian National Anthem and the Rio Grande do Sul State Anthem
• English-language presentations on the Farroupilha Saga and chimarrão as cultural heritage
• Music, artistic performances, and traditional Gaucho cultural expressions
BRAZILIAN CULTURAL AND PRODUCT SHOWCASE
Gaucho Expo is developing a curated exhibitor showcase featuring Brazilian businesses, artisans, cultural organizations, and community initiatives.
Exhibitors will present Brazilian products, creative work, and cultural projects for the public to discover. The showcase is intended for cultural and informational purposes only, and no products will be sold during the event.
Participating exhibitors will be announced as they are confirmed.

Cristina Sorrentino — Brazilian soprano bridging classical and Gaucho traditions
Etcheverry Santi Rebelatto — Italian-Brazilian tenor, pianist, multi-instrumentalist, and musical director
Conjunto Folclórico Arte Nativa — Brazilian folk ensemble of dancers and musicians from Viamão, Rio Grande do Sul
ADMISSION
Free and open to the public. Eventbrite registration is optional and helps the organizers plan attendance. A reservation is not required for admission.
