Escape the city and discover the natural beauty of Gatineau Park on a comfortable guided scenic tour from Ottawa. This experience is ideal for visitors who want forest roads, lookout areas, seasonal scenery and photo opportunities without arranging transportation or navigating unfamiliar park roads.
After pick-up, cross from Ottawa into Gatineau and travel toward one of the National Capital Region's best-known natural destinations. Your guide will choose the most suitable route based on seasonal access, weather, visibility, traffic and timing.
Depending on conditions, the tour may include scenic drives through Gatineau Park, available lookout points, forested parkways, peaceful natural areas and optional short walks to viewpoint platforms. In summer, guests may enjoy green forest scenery and open views. In autumn, the tour may feature colourful foliage. In winter or shoulder seasons, route options may be adjusted based on park access and road conditions.
This tour is designed for relaxed sightseeing, photography and scenic driving rather than strenuous hiking. It works well for couples, families, seniors, photographers and travellers who want a short nature escape close to Ottawa.
The route may change because of seasonal road closures, construction, weather, parking limitations, visibility or park regulations. Specific lookouts cannot always be guaranteed, but the guide will select the best available scenic stops for the day.
After the final stop, enjoy a comfortable return drive to Ottawa with drop-off at Fairmont Chateau Laurier, a nearby downtown hotel or another confirmed location.
