About this Event
Gathered in Legacy is an intimate cultural experience honoring the enduring legacy of Adela Gonzmart and the families, traditions, and stories that helped shape Ybor City.
Hosted at the historic Centro Asturiano de Tampa, the afternoon will feature an intimate Sunday table conversation with members of the Gonzmart family of the 1905 Family of Restaurants — Melanie Gonzmart, Richard Gonzmart, and Andrea Gonzmart — reflecting on heritage, hospitality, family traditions, community, and the importance of preserving the cultural legacy that continues to define Ybor City.
Following the conversation, guests will enjoy a guided tasting led by Richard Gonzmart featuring the Gonzmart family’s private wines, thoughtfully paired with tapas in an atmosphere inspired by the spirit, warmth, and traditions of Ybor City.
More than a wine tasting, Gathered in Legacy is a celebration of connection, storytelling, and the lasting impact of the families who continue to shape Tampa’s cultural identity.
In a generous gesture honoring preservation and community, all proceeds from this event are being donated to the Centro Asturiano to support the preservation and restoration of our historic building.
