Slow down, reconnect with nature and create a beautiful, impermanent mandala from materials gathered in the forest.
About this Event

Step away from the noise of everyday life and into the quiet rhythm of the forest.

In this gentle, guided experience, Cherie Clark-Moore will invite you to slow down, awaken your senses and reconnect with yourself through mindful walking, meditation and creative expression in nature.

We’ll begin with forest bathing—not a strenuous hike, but an opportunity to move slowly, breathe deeply and notice the sights, sounds, textures and energy of the natural world around us.

As we walk mindfully through the forest, we’ll gather fallen leaves, pinecones, stones, twigs and other natural treasures. We’ll then bring our collected materials together to create a beautiful nature mandala.

A mandala is a circular work of art composed of patterns and symbols. The word mandala comes from Sanskrit and can be translated as “circle” or “center.”

When our mandala has taken shape, Cherie will guide us through a short meditation—an opportunity to become still, appreciate what we have created and reconnect with our own center.

To close the experience, we’ll gently release the mandala and return its materials to nature. This simple act becomes a beautiful practice in gratitude, impermanence and letting go.

There is no artistic experience required. This is not about making something perfect—it is about being present, following your senses and enjoying the process of creating with nature.

You’ll leave feeling calmer, more grounded and more deeply connected—to yourself, to the group and to the natural world.
