What is Gather & Obey actually?
Gather & Obey is a recurring gathering in New York led by Rebekah DeAndra with the sole intention to hear what God is saying -- that can be in a worship service or a business development workshop or even a recording studio (Yea, we have music out!). God is always talking, and we endeavor to curate environments for Him to be present and speak to us so we can obey HIM.
So, simply: We gather and we obey.
Is this gathering for me?
Absolutely. If you are in a season in your life where you have a lingering, important question and you feel like you've been waiting for an answer -- bring it before the Father. If you are in a season where you feel like you need to pivot and transition into something completely different, this gathering is for you. And if you know someone who simply needs to hear from Him, bring them. This moment is FOR US!
This isn't a Sunday Service.
Hey, listen. Sunday would've happened already and I hope you had a good one. This gathering is not a Sunday do-over. We are gathering for a very specific intention and purpose. We are going to start on 100 and end on 1,000,000. And I'm so glad God staffed me with co-laborers to carry this assignment with me. So, wear your flats. Get your hairpins. That wig might shift a bit. LOL. We are getting ourselves out of the way for God to have His way.
What are the actual times?
Doors open promptly at 6:00 pm EST. And the experience begins at the same time. Please aim to arrive early to secure your seat.
What do you recommend for transportation to the venue?
We chose a Midtown location that’s conveniently within walking distance of Penn Station. Several train and bus lines service the area, making it accessible even if weekend schedules change.
For out-of-town guests, Amtrak arrives right at Penn Station. If you’re flying in, LaGuardia Airport is the closest airport to the venue.
We’re so grateful for everyone traveling—near and far—to gather with us.
Will this be live-streamed?
Nah. I know this will be an intimate moment in time for all of us, and everything doesn't need to be virtual. There is a difference when you are in the room.
