GARRET T. WILLIE — LIVE AT MILLS HARDWARE!Garret T. Willie's second album Bill’s Café is more than a record — it’s a tribute and a reckoning. Named after his grandfather’s pool hall café in Alert Bay, British Columbia, the album ties his roots to the bright lights of Nashville, where Willie recorded with Grammy-winning producer Tom Hambridge. Bill’s Café is a road map of grit, heart, and soul. Written between late nights, long drives, and Nashville sessions, the album captures the restless spirit of a young artist carrying old-soul blues and rock traditions into the future. With a voice that cuts like hi-beam headlights and guitar playing that shreds without gimmicks, Willie delivers songs about love, loss, addiction, and ambition — truth-telling wrapped in raw energy. At 25, Willie has already proven himself on stage, channeling a lived-in blues power that feels far beyond his years. His performances — often with solos ripped from behind his head or in the middle of the crowd — are shockwaves of electric energy. His debut album Same Pain, co-written with Parker Bossley, earned international acclaim, airplay on BBC Radio 2, Top 20 chart placements in the UK and US, two Western Canadian Music Award nominations, Best New Touring Artist nomination at the Canadian Live Music Industry Awards and tour dates opening for Kenny Wayne Shepherd, John Fogerty, Kingfish, and Joe Bonamassa. a 25-year-old musician from Kingcome Inlet, British Columbia, has quickly risen as one of Canada’s most compelling voices in rock and blues.
