Gardening Workshop - Harvesting, Storing, and Preserving

Join Janet Melrose, Calgary's Cottage Gardener, in a series of workshops aimed to develop and expand on your gardening knowledge, all while connecting with community!

This event will take place in the MAIN HALL at the Sunalta Community Hall. please enter through the front door with the STAIRS.

In this program we will be going over:

• Thanksgiving celebrations around the world 
• Overwintering, Harvesting and Storing edibles-   
• Techniques for overwintering in ground and in the house 
• Drying, canning and freezing 
• Seed saving
