Come dance, connect, and celebrate at GarbaFest!
Join BollyFusion for a free public Garba celebration in Vancouver on Sunday, September 27 from 3–6 PM at 50th & Main St Plaza.
The afternoon will begin with a beginner-friendly Garba dance workshop from 3–4 PM, where we’ll break down traditional Garba steps and sequences so everyone can join in; whether it’s your first time dancing Garba or you’ve been dancing for years.
From 4–6 PM, the plaza will come alive with social Garba dancing, local DJs and live music, creating space to dance, meet new people, celebrate culture, and enjoy the community together.
This event is designed to be welcoming, accessible, and open to everyone. You don’t need to come with a group or have any previous dance experience, just bring yourself and your enthusiasm!

However, GarbaFest is a free, public outdoor event, so you can still attend even if Eventbrite displays “Sold Out.” The RSVP page is primarily being used to help us track interest, share important event updates, and give attendees a way to contact the organizers.
No tickets will be scanned at the event, and an Eventbrite ticket is not required to participate.
