About The EventWhat is GAP Con?
Grow • Accelerate • Propel.
Two Locations for 2026:
1. Holmes Center for the Arts on October 15 (Holmes County)
2. Pritchard Laughlin Civic Center on November 19 (Guernsey County)
For 13+ years, GAP Con has gathered builders, operators, and community leaders for a single day of practical insight and real connections. We focus on what works: clear ideas, useful tools, and relationships that move the needle.
The Three Pillars
Grow — Clarity, strategy, and capability building.
Accelerate — Processes, tools, and tempo that compound.
Propel — Culture, leadership, and community impact.
2026 Theme: Momentum
Momentum isn’t free—and stopping isn’t either. You paid for your progress with time, risk, trust, and courage. This year is about directing that momentum: keeping the parts that still create value and rotating the vector toward a better target. You’ll learn how to avoid wasteful restarts, beat escalation-of-commitment, and turn friction into forward motion.
Who It’s For

Economic development, community, and non-profit leaders
Anyone responsible for outcomes, not just ideas
What You’ll Walk Away With
A momentum inventory: what to keep (skills, trust, systems, brand equity)
A 15–30° Redirection Plan for an active initiative
A cadence model to maintain motion without burnout
A K*ll/pivot/press decision rule you can reuse
3–5 new relationships you’ll actually follow up with
