Double Trouble Artist Statement
Nolan and Mary are new members to the Fernie community and would like to take this opportunity to introduce themselves artistically. Our goal is to display three large scale paintings creating background atmospheres for corresponding ceramic sculptures. The sculptures are displayed in front of each image. Abstract paintings with drawn flora or fauna will lead the viewers eye to the medium scale ceramic sculptures creating the illusion of a glimpse into another world.
Artist Biography
Nolan and Mary earned their Bachelors degrees with a major in ceramics and painting. They started "Throwing Neon Studios" together in 2014 and have been creating collaborations ever since!
